5 good habits to give to our children
Nowadays, our dear and tender little ones
are bursting with incredible energy and a sense of strength. Personally when I
speak with my 4 year old nephew.I
often have the impression that he is much older. We are often proud of their
exploits, saying that they are little geniuses. But you have to know the
difference between "being awake" and "being rude". The
border is often quickly crossed alas!. Part of your responsibility as a parent
is to teach your children how to lead a healthy life. The best time to start
giving kids good habits for a healthy lifestyle is when they're young, before
unhealthy choices can become bad habits for life. To help you, we have tried to
make a dashboard of good habits to instill in them.
1-Learn
politeness: Hello /Salam/
Good evening / Please and thank you:
Like my mom said, learning to say these
words is like saying magic words that open all doors. How to refuse something
to a child who welcomes and is polite.
Establish regular schedules for eating,
sleeping, watching TV and all other activities. Children feel safe by living in
a stable environment.
Prohibit TV before homework is finished.
And also, no computer, game console ... This is the deal! Teaching them to
prioritize their tasks will help them in the future.
Wash your hands regularly, before going to
the table, for example. Teaching them cleanliness is important for their
health. No, we don't do what we want when we want! There are rules.
3-Being adamant on No
is no:
For my part, you have to know how to be
firm with a child, and not be touched. Our dear little men are real
manipulators. Giving in to all their whims is not doing them a favor, on the
contrary.
4- Insist on not
talking to strangers and especially not following them:
We still have in mind the kidnappings of
children who have rocked the web in recent years. They must be taught not to
follow strangers, but in addition, memorize the place of residence and a
telephone number of the house.
5-Be an example:
In principle I should have started with
this chapter, it is by far the most important. Indeed, how can we demand things
from a child, if we are not examples ourselves? So in turn, let's learn not to
insult or swear at all things (with our municipal taxi drivers, I know it's not
easy). Be polite to those around you and never forget to wash your hands….
Children
copy everything we show them. We are their example, so let's live up to it.
Good
